We wish to inform the public that Civil Service Commission (CSC) offices nationwide continue to operate and provide frontline services to our clientele, notwithstanding the implementation of the following work arrangements*:

Community Quarantine Classification

Work Arrangement

For areas under Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ):

Work-from-home, and skeleton workforce for critical services

For areas under Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ):

Work-from-home, and skeleton workforce for critical services

For areas under General Community Quarantine (GCQ):

Appropriate alternative work arrangement/s**

It is also important to note that additional health measures may be enforced by provincial/city/municipal governments within their respective areas of jurisdiction.

Recognizing that there may be different situations in different localities, we strongly advise our clients to coordinate first with the CSC Regional/Field/Central Office offering the service they wish to avail, to know the possible modes of transaction as well as the health protocols being implemented in the office. (For example, a number of CSC Regional Offices are using an Online Appointment System to control the number of walk-in clients in a given day.)

The directory of CSC offices nationwide is available at www.csc.gov.ph/cscrod.

Protocols for walk-in clients
While electronic transactions are currently preferred to minimize close contact, walk-in clients shall be allowed entry inside CSC, but only in designated areas such as the lobby, as long as the following minimum public health standards are observed:

• Wear a face mask upon entering and within CSC premises. Those not wearing face masks will be denied entry or asked to leave the premises;
• Ensure physical distance of at least one (1) meter away from other people;
• Comply with infection control measures being implemented by the office, such as temperature check, hand hygiene, foot bath, including referral procedures for visitors found with symptoms;
• STAY AT HOME if you are showing COVID-19 symptoms, or if you have relevant history of travel or exposure within the last 14 days.
