SUBJECT         :     CSC COMEX Schedule for March 2015

 

          For March 2015, the following schedule for the conduct of CSC COMEX (Professional Level) and the corresponding Online Reservation of examination slots shall be observed:

      *Availability of online reservation for the CSC Regional Offices (CSCROs) shall include only CSCROs joining the scheduled date of examination.

        The above schedule may be subject to change without prior notice. Also, alternative mode of taking the examination in the CSC Central Office may be adopted in cases of unforeseen system technical problem.

        Applicants/registrants are strongly advised to regularly check their COMEX accounts for latest announcements, developments and updates.

        Meanwhile, the conduct of CSC COMEX (SubProfessional Level) has not been included in the above schedule. Separate advisory shall be issued on the schedule for SubProfessional Level once it becomes available.

        There will be no conduct of CSC COMEX on the week (March 16 to 20, 2015) preceding the March 22, 2015 Penology Officer Examination.

       2. Availing CSC COMEX

          For non-holders of CSC COMEX account

  • Reserve an examination slot
  • Click the “Examination Schedules” tab
  • Guided by the above Schedule of Examination and Online Reservation, log in to the COMEX system using your username and password
  • Activate your COMEX user account by clicking the activation link provided by the system confirmation e-mail (Note: Successful account activation shall redirect you to the COMEX website.)
  • Check your e-mail account for the system confirmation e-mail (Note: The system confirmation e-mail may be found in the SPAM folder.)
  • Submit the form by clicking the “Submit” button
  • Fill out completely the online Registration form
  • At the homepage, click the “Sign Up Now!” button
  • Access the CSC COMEX website www.comex.csc.gov.ph/user

 

  • For holders of CSC COMEX account
  • Guided by the above Schedule of Examination and Online Reservation, log in to the COMEX system using your username and password
  • Click the “Examination Schedules” tab
  • Reserve an examination slot

        It is emphasized that the number of examination slots available for online reservation is very limited. Slots may be taken and filled up in a matter of minutes. We strongly encourage those who were able to reserve a slot and later decide not to pursue taking the test to cancel their reservation online in order for others to be able to take the slot.    

        Instances of failed attempts in accessing the COMEX website may be caused by congestion in the light of simultaneous access by the public. When this happens, applicants shall refresh their connection and try accessing again.

       3. Three-month Prohibition on Taking the Career Service Examination

        Applicants must NOT have taken the same level of Career Service Examination being applied for, either through the Paper-and-Pencil Test (PPT) mode or the Computerized Examination (COMEX) mode, within three (3) months before the date of examination.

       4. Documentary Requirements

        Documentary requirements to be presented during personal appearance before the designated CSC Office on the scheduled date and time (for the processing of examination application and for the actual examination):

  1. Original and photocopy of any of the following ID cards, which must be valid (not expired), and contains the name, clear picture, date of birth and signature of the applicant, and the name and signature of the issuing agency’s current head/authorized representative:
  • Driver’s License;
  • Passport;
  • PRC License;
  • SSS I.D.;
  • GSIS I.D.
  • Voter’s I.D.;
  • BIR I.D. (ATM type/TIN card type with picture);
  • PhilHealth ID (must, at the least, contain the applicant’s name, clear picture, signature and PhilHealth number);
  • Current Company/Office ID;
  • Current School ID (validated for the current school year/ semester/ trimester);
  • Police Clearance;
  • Postal I.D.; or
  • Barangay I.D.

          NOTE:      a.   ID card is a MUST. The “NO ID, NO APPLICATION PROCESSING” and “NO ID, NO EXAMINATION” rules are strictly implemented.  

                         b.   Any other ID card not included in the above list shall NOT be accepted.

                         c.   ID card/s without date of birth shall NOT be accepted.

                         d.   Photocopy only of ID card shall NOT be accepted.  

  1. For applicants without date of birth in their ID card/s, original and photocopy of Birth Certificate issued/authenticated by the National Statistics Office

          NOTE:      a.   Birth Certificate issued/authenticated by the Local Civil Registrar shall NOT be accepted.

                         b.   Photocopy only of NSO Birth Certificate shall NOT be accepted. 

       5. COMEX Fee

        6. Test Results

 

            Test results shall be available within one (1) week after the examination. It shall be released officially through posting of the list of passers in the CSC website.

             Issuance of Certificate of Eligibility (CoE) to passers shall also be available within one week after the examination.

             However, the period for posting of test results and the availability of CoE may be extended as necessary in the light of unforeseen system technical problem.

A D V I S O R Y

TO              :            All Examinees of the December 7, 2014 Ethics-Oriented Personality Test (EOPT) for the Bureau of Internal Revenue(BIR)

SUBJECT     :           School Assignment

  
            Please be advised that the testing venue for the December 7, 2014 EOPT-BIR shall be Siena College, Del Monte Avenue, Quezon City.

 Examinees are advised to observe procedures, as follows: 

1. Visit and have an ocular inspection of the school venue at least one day before the examination day to be familiar with the school location; 
2. Be at the school venue on or before 8:15 a.m. on examination day for the verification and locating of room assignment;
3. Wear proper attire on examination day (e.g. not in sleeveless shirt/blouse, or in short pants, or in slippers).
4. Bring the following items on examination day: 

a.   I.D. card – preferably current Office ID, or any of the following ID cards which must be valid (not expired): Driver’s License, Passport, GSIS ID, SSS       ID, BIR ID, Voter’s ID, Postal ID, Barangay ID, current School ID, PhilHealth ID, PRC ID, and Police Clearance); 

      Note: The NO I.D., NO EXAMINATION Rule is strictly implemented. 

b.   Black ballpen/s (which shall be used for ALL writing and shading required in the examination)
c.   Clear bottled water, or preferred beverage (except alcoholic beverage) placed in clear/transparent container, and candies, if any.

ADVISORY

 TO   :    All Examinees of the October 26, 2014 CSE-PPT

       The results of the October 26, 2014 Career Service Examination, Paper-and-Pencil Test (CSE-PPT) may now be viewed in the CSC website www.csc.gov.ph | Examinations.

      Examinees may generate their test result using the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS), which can be accessed also through the CSC website. To use this system, the examinee should encode/fill in the required data. Successful data submission will produce a copy of the examinee’s rating, on screen, which can be viewed and/or printed for reference. Test result generation through OCSERGS shall be available on January 6, 2015 and thereafter.
