COMELEC Resolution No. 10695 declared that election period starts on January 9, 2022 and ends on June 8, 2022.

I was reassigned (February 4, 2022) within the election period. I complied the reassignment order although it violates COMELEC Resolution No. 10695 in relation to Section 261(h) of the Omnibus Election Code. Am I administratively liable for complying with the illegal reassignment order?

The reassignment order was issued on February 4, 2022. I received it on February 8, 2022. I did not immediately reported to my new office assignments because I am hesitant to follow the order since it was issued within the election period. Only on February 14, 2022, or after three working days did I report on my new post. Do I need to file leave of absences on this three days I refused to report on my new post?

Thank you very much.

Respectfully yours,
Aggrieved employee

I was reassigned within the election period and only after three days did I reported on my new assigned post.

I am worried because I am not sure if i am liable for complying an illegal reassignment order. I am also wondering if I need to file a leave of absence because I did not report immediately on my new post.

Same here. This just happened to me last Thursday. In my appointment, i am assigned in the Office of the MCR but our mayor reassigned me to COMELEC which office is in the same building where i am working. I told our HR officer that i will report or file a complaint to csc regarding about my reassignment. 3 hours later, our mayor revoked her decision to reassign me.
