JULIUS L. FAGAYAN created the topic: Reporting Schedule of government physicians
Par. A.1 of MC No. 21, S. 1991 of the Civil Service Commission provides that: “A. Forty-Hour Work Week: “All government officials and employees are required to render eight (8) working hours a day for five working days a week or a total of forty (40) hours a week, exclusive of time for lunch.”

Also, items c & d of 1.2 Rule XV of the Revised IRR of RA 7305 provide "c)In scheduling the 40 hours per week normally rendered by monthly or annually rated workers, any regular day’s work required should not exceed 12 hours nor be less than 4 hours, unless the public health worker gives a written consent to serve otherwise.
d) Public health workers required to render 24-hour service shall be granted an extra day off immediately after each 24-hours tour of duty."

How can we apply the above provisions when a phw renders a continuous 5 or more days 24-hours work and who does not report for a continuous 5 or more days thereafter?
