Hi I'd like to ask for clarification since our understanding about Mandatory Forced Leave is employees must have a total of five days leave in the whole year.
Halimbawa:
1. Employee A filed a 2 days vacation leave in June and 3 days vacation leave in September. Kailangan pa ba nyang magfile ng another five days for tagging ng Forced leave? Or the filed VL is okay na?
2. Employee B filed a 3 day SPL in April and 2 days vacation leave in August. Kailangan pa ba nyang magfile ng another five days for tagging ng Forced Leave? Or the filed VL is okay na?

Dahil ang understanding namin, kapag nakagfile na ng VL na 5 days hindi na mafoforfeit ang leave credits nya.

Please enlighten us.

This is the practice in our office:

1. You don't have to File for mandatory leave since you have already consumed the five mandatory leave for the year.
2. The employee have to file 3 days since only 2 Vacation leaves have been used. SPL is not counted for Mandatory Leave.

Please comment if this practice is against the Mandatory Leave requirements. Thnak you.
