Hello Administrator and fellow Users, specially Job Orders.

I am writing to make some clarification on section 9.0 of CSC, COA DBM joint circular no. 1 s. 2017, "Payment of Service under Job Order". Under section 9.0 of the said circular order, Individuals hired through job orders shall be paid wages equivalent to the daily wage/ salary of comparable positions in government and a premium of up to 20% of such wage/ salary.

I was hired as Nurse 1 Job Order position in a Government Institution, In view of the statement under section 9.0 of the circular order, this gave rise to my queries below

1.) Does my daily wage must be equivalent or equal in value to Basic salary of Regular Nurse 1 position in the government?
2.) Is the 20% premium required to be given to job order like us?
3.) the wording of "up to 20%" means 20% is the maximum, Who will be responsible and his basis for the percentage of such premium? I mean a boss might give 1% premium if that what he wants..

Thank you in advance for the Enlightenment

The word "and" is missing but "government with a premium of...

Don't know what it means but my guess about premium is the SSS/Philhealth/pag ibig etc...
