Marissa M. Andanza created the topic: Step Increment Issue
Good day!

I just would to clarify on the grant of step increment.

Please allow me to narrate:
This is the history of my promotion:

- School Principal - July 3, 2015 - Salary Grade 22
- July 2018 - salary grade 22 step 2

- January 2021——- I transferred to Division office as
Education Program Supervisor - SG 22
Step 2
- July 2021 - my salary adjusted to SG 22
Step 3

I am expecting my salary be adjusted to SG 22 Step 4 on July 2024 but the HR office did not grant me because they said the adjustment will take effect in 2025.

Please enlighten me on this. When shall my salary be adjusted to Step 4, is it July 2024 or Jan 2025? May I ask for specific answer please because our HR told me it’s January 2025.

Please clear me out with CSC-DBM Joint Circular 1, s. 2012, 6.2.

Thank you very much for the kind reply.
