That is actually what I want to clarify. How will you define "egree RELEVANT to the job"? will my credential as an Accountancy graduate be enough for that?thanks so much!

As a matter of policy, the CSC-Office for Legal Affairs (OLA) refrains from rendering categorical opinion on matters and issues that may later on be the subject of an administrative proceeding before the Commission either via an appeal or a complaint. This is to preclude the possibility of prejudgment should an actual administrative case be commenced or instituted based on the said matters or issues.

Be that as it may, for the term "degree relevant to the job", Section 49, Part I, Rule VIII, 2017 Omnibus Rules on Appointment and Other Human Resource Actions (2017 ORAOHRA) provides, that:

Sec. 49. To meet the relevant bachelor’s degree requirement in the Qualification Standards Manual, the appointee must have completed from a CHED-recognized college or university a bachelor’s degree whose curriculum either includes, or is supplemented by, 12 academic units of the subject or course, which will enable the candidate to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position to be filled in the Position Description Form.
