My former supervisor had rendered her notice to transfer to another agency. Approx 2 days after, she took an oath at the other agency. Surprisingly, our office allowed this. So what happened was a very hasty turnover of documents and instructions on what to do. because as next in rank, I was “automatically” to assume her old duties, in addition to my own. This all happened to me on a span of a few days. me doing the jobs of two plantilla positions. Without any SO, or memo, or anything. All verbal.

May I ask is this allowed? When I told HR na nahhirapan ako kasi pang dalawang tao ang trabaho ko, sinagot lang ako na “eh ako nga pang tatlong tao ang trabaho ko.” One co-worker even told me na ipa cancel ko na daw mga forced leave ko kasi marami na akong kailangan gawin.

Is this all allowed? Pwede pala hindi mag render ng 30 day notice when transferring to other agencies? Automatic na sa next in rank mappunta ang mga trabaho ng umalis na section chief, nang walang SO or kahit memo man lang? pano kung magkamali ako? What is my remedy to this?
