The Civil Service Commission (CSC) warned the public against review centers or individuals/groups offering review classes and reviewers for the Career Service Professional and Subprofessional Examination (CSE).

The CSC has noted that reviewers for career service examinations are being offered and sold in the market, either through bookstores, social media, or online selling websites. There are also claims that the reviewers have been prepared by CSE topnotchers.

In line with the recommendation of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) which was approved by the President extending the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) in the National Capital Region (NCR) and its surrounding provinces of Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal (also known as NCR plus) until 11 April 2021, CSC Central Office, CSC National Capital Region, Regional Office IV Headquarters and Field Offices in Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna and Rizal, shall continue to observe the work from home arrangement until 11 April 2021.

As the nation celebrates National Women’s Month this March, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) honors women in government service who have made significant contributions to the country.

“Women in government are major players in different aspects of national development—in leadership and legislation, science and technology, medicine, social services, even in the enrichment of Filipino culture and the arts,” CSC Chairperson Alicia dela Rosa-Bala said, adding, “They deserve honor and recognition not only for their achievements, but also for opening the door for other women and girls to come forward and fulfill their potentials.”

In line with the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) Resolution No. 106-A dated 27 March 2021 placing the National Capital Region (NCR) and its surrounding provinces of Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal (also known as NCR plus) under Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) from 29 March to 4 April 2021, the CSC Central Office, CSC National Capital Region, Regional Office IV Headquarters and Field Offices in Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal, shall strictly observe the work from home arrangement from 29-31 March 2021. 

The CSC Central Office (CO) will continue to be closed for one week from 15-19 March 2021 due to five (5) confirmed cases of COVID-19. As part of precautionary measures, the CSC Central Office shall undertake disinfection measures and conduct contact tracing. The closure is also intended to allow officials and employees to observe the required period of self-isolation pending results of the COVID-19 testing conducted last week.

In this regard, CSC clients are advised not to visit the CSC CO from 15-19 March 2021. The clients may avail of the following services and transactions online:
